Hello

I am a recent graduate with a deep passion for storytelling and a commitment to crafting meaningful and engaging narratives. Over the past four years, I have immersed myself in the craft of filmmaking, developing a strong foundation in directing, writing, editing, and sound design. Through academic training and hands-on experience, I have worked on various projects that have challenged me to grow both creatively and technically.

I am eager to continue pushing the boundaries of storytelling, using my skills to connect with audiences and bring unique visions to life.

Work Experience

Production Assistant

What I do: On-the-ground support for a production, handling a wide range of logistical, administrative, and on-set tasks to keep things running smoothly, from preparing call sheets and scripts to managing equipment, coordinating cast/crew, running errands, and helping with setup/cleanup on set. The "go-to" person for whatever needs doing, bridging gaps between departments and supporting producers, directors, and the entire crew before, during, and after filming.

Ferventi

Short Film

My first original directing project, Ferventi, is a short film that I co-directed and wrote. The narrative follows Charlie, a character grappling with the pressures of daily life, as he eagerly prepares for a meticulously planned dinner. However, as events take an unforeseen turn, Charlie is faced with unexpected challenges that explore themes of resilience and self-discovery. This project allowed me to delve into character-driven storytelling while collaborating to bring a unique vision to life.

Grey Morality

Video Essay

This video essay is one of my favorite projects to date. I had the opportunity to take on multiple roles, including writing, editing, and narrating, which made the process both rewarding and creatively fulfilling. The essay explores Yorgos Lanthimos's The Killing of a Sacred Deer, analyzing how the nuanced morality of its characters creates a more compelling narrative than traditional depictions of good versus evil. By embracing these complexities, the film offers a profound exploration of the human psyche, which made the topic particularly engaging to research and present.

Once Upon A Time In The West

Short Film: Recreation

My first directing project was a recreation of the iconic opening scene from Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West. The goal was to replicate the essence of the original as faithfully as possible while working within the constraints of limited resources. This project allowed me to refine my skills in directing, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving to achieve a cinematic result.

How to Cook Udon Noodles

Video Tutorial

One of my favorite genres of content to watch is cooking videos, so I decided to take on the challenge of recreating one. As noted in the video, I had constant power outages that hindered my progress. Still, despite those setbacks, the Udon noodles turned out excellent, and I’m proud of how the final video came together.
